giving the most fragile felines a fighting chance.

The Itty Bitty Kitty Committee is a small, home based rescue in Youngstown, Ohio specializing in the care of orphaned, special needs, and critical care neonatal kittens.

We are in partnership with Rebel Rescue Ranch, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and work closely with several nonprofit rescues in the area.

Mission

Every kitten season, thousands of motherless kittens are at risk of death on the streets and in animal shelters. Kittens under 8 weeks old are one of the most euthanized populations in the United States, being killed by the hundreds of thousands every year. Animal shelters and veterinarians generally do not take in newborn kittens, since they do not have the staff to provide the around-the-clock, specialized care that these fragile felines need to survive. The Itty Bitty Kitty Committee offers around-the-clock feeding, medical care, and a warm, safe haven to neonatal kittens ages 4 weeks and younger.
